It’s actually not recommended to take a cold shower right after you get your heart pumping because it can cause a heart attack and potentially end your life. I know this because it has happened to quite a lot of people I’ve known in my life. It’s recommended to wind down like meditate for at least at 5 minutes or do some deep breathing before you shock your body with cold water, or you can start the shower off hot and wait a couple minutes before slowly and I mean slowly, turning it to cold.
this is all well and good but im not clinically insane and choose happiness

Why do people have strokes when they shower???? Loads of stories of people recovering from strokes after taking a cold shower
First rule: don’t give harmful advice! Ever!
The video is 99% very good and informative, BUT:
Push-ups is not a high intensity workout! It’s a strength workout and if your joints are cold and not prepared (like right after waking up), that will be very bad on the long run.
When I was 22, someone told me that do pushups right after waking up just like You. I did. It was great. But after a few weeks, my shoulder joints started to crack. I immediately stopped this nonsense because PROPER WARMUP is needed!
Yeah, I’m 42 and my sholuders still not recovered from those few weeks 🙁 No matter how long I warm up, the first set is always feels bad for my shoulders and cracks a lot 🙁
You need to let your body wake up properly. Go out, get some sunlight and warm up before doing and strength training.
Also for most days the best breakfast is no breakfast. You don’t need to eat at morning: let the guts have some recovery time.
